At AZ Turn and Burn RC, our journey began with a vision, and that vision was brought to life by our passionate founder, Tim. Tim is not just an entrepreneur; he's a seasoned RC enthusiast who took his love for the RC Hobby and turned it into the fastest growing RC Hobby store in the west. With a background deeply rooted in this thrilling hobby, Tim's expertise and accomplishments have paved the way for AZ Turn and Burn RC to become your ultimate destination for all things RC. A Legacy of Accomplishments Tim's journey in life is marked by remarkable accomplishments: Tim started his retail career back when he was 18 years old, he worked for GNC a retail nutrition supplements company as an assistant manager. But working for a big corporation was never in the cards for Tim as in a short year he decided to open his own sports and nutrition supplement store in a small town in Ohio. With a turn in the economy Tim dissolved his store and started his career in the world of finance. He has held many distinguished positions in the world of Mortgage lending, from being a loan officer to the vice president of mortgage lending. Tim successful career in Mortgage lending was rewarding but it never gave him the enjoyment that his RC hobby was able to provide.
After a long road trip to Tulsa OK for the RC Chili Bowl in 2021. Tim and his local racer buddies decided Arizona needed a hobby store that understood what the RC community wanted and needed. AZ Turn and Burn RC was born just a few months later. Industry Innovator: Tim is known for pushing the boundaries. He has been called the man who never sleeps. His dedication to making AZ Turn and Burn RC a destination for RC enthusiasts is evident by the growth of the store. From a store front that had about 300 sq feet and only a few brands to the present store that has over 10,000 different products to choose from. In Tim's spare time he coaches High School and youth football and he spends time with his Two boys and beautiful wife.
